This fascinating chapel was carved into limestone cliffs over 600 years ago by John Mason having received permission from King Henry IV. It was likely a shrine for pilgrims on their way to the nearby priory  and remains a haven of peace and tranquility. It’s open to visitors every Sunday from 2-4pm  end of March to end of September.
